Ayre

Ayre have been playing together since October 2007. They recently gave performed for the Park Lane Composers’ Symposium at the Royal Festival Hall and in August 2008 gave three highly acclaimed performances at the British Flute Society Convention, held at the RNCM in Manchester. In February 2008 they played Dave Heath’s Golden Sunset, in the presence of the composer at the Dave Heath Celebration Concert.
All of the players are postgraduate and senior undergraduate students at Trinity College of Music and receive coaching from TCM professors Anna Noakes and Wissam Boustany. They have also received tuition from Andy Findon and have been privileged to perform with Andy as a guest artist on the contra-bass! They will be appearing in the May/June issue of Muso Magazine.
